Tamagotchi Classic is a mobile app which was released in regions that did not receive the Tamagotchi L.i.f.e. app in September 2013, before receiving a release in the USA in March 2015, shortly after the discontinuation of said app. As such, it is near identical to the L.i.f.e, with several changes. It has no advertisements, no longer features social media support, and has added support for the Apple Watch.
The app only features the original Tamagotchi as it is based off the original version of the Tamagotchi L.i.f.e app. The second generation is available on another app known as "Tamagotchi classic 2nd gen.", which functions like the second generation on L.i.f.e. Unlike the Tamagotchi Classic, it has not received any updates since its release in September 2014, and so does not support the Apple Watch. Furthermore, it has not been re-released in the USA. Similarly, the Tamagotchi Angel app is now only available in regions which did not initially receive Tamagotchi L.i.f.e.
